  1. The film that I most enjoyed was "It's a Wonderful Life". I have seen this movie many times and it never gets old for me. For the group to highlight the important themes and symbols of the movie brought out a lot of details that now I realize are important. I felt liek crying at the end of the movie because George finally realizes how important his life is to others.

  2. Having seen all of the films atleast once during some point I enjoyed, "Some Like it Hot" the most. I like that the film actually portrays two men who become enlighted to the indignities women face from men such as themselves. By having them actually having to be women by means of drag for a period of time. As well the various witty dialogue and constant sexual inuendos made the film quite amusing.

  3. The film that i enjoyed the most so far would have to be It's A Wonderful Life. To me this movie was the most interesting and meaningful. It showed that money does not run everything. It shows how one man alone can make a difference in life. Showed how George gave up and then began to realize that after whishing he did not exists because of the missing money, that after all he did have a wonderful life. He saw that he did have an impact on other people and that is what made him who he was.

  4. The film that I enjoyed most would be It's A Wonderful Life. I think that the lesson George learns is one that everyone must go through in their life. Money is not everything, family and friends are what truly matters. George learns the hard way that there are ups and downs to every life and that nothing is worth killing yourself over. Friends give a person success not money. Money does not create or destroy a man. "No man is a failure who has friends." Also George learns that every life affects another and that you must think of others before making big decisions.

  5. After watching all three films, I enjoyed On the Waterfront the most, not because it was the film I presented, but because I can very much relate myself to Terry Malloy. He is put in pressuring positions that cause him to listen to others instead of his morals. Terry is a good man at heart, he just does not know what to do with the situation he is in. Ultimately, he realizes that he must confess to helping with the arrangement of Joey Doyle's murder, in order to feel like he is a better person. I look up to Terry's character because even when Johnny Friendly could seriously harm him, he still stands up to him, despite the horrible consequences he could face.

  6. I have enjoyed the film "On the Waterfront" the most so far. I know I'm being bias because my group and I had this movie, but I have learned so much from watching it. Terry Malloy, the protagonist of the film, is known in society as a "bum". He is involved in Johnny Friendly's mob and assists in the murder of Joey Doyle. Even though Terry never thought that the mob would kill Joey, he is at fault for lying about his involvement and keeping quiet for Friendly. He lies to his peers, including his love interest, Edie Doyle. Terry finally comes to the realization that he must stand up to Johnny Friendly and fight for his rights. He realizes that he has been living for other people, such as his brother Charley, and has never thought to make his own choices. This film has taught me that it is never too late to turn my life direction around for the better. It also teaches me to stand up for what is right no matter how difficult or frightening it may be. I really appreciated this movie because I was able to see Terry grow as a person and prove to everyone that he is not a "bum" and that he truly is worthy of greatness.

  7. My favorite film so far is "It's a Wonderful Life", After watching the movie, it really made me rethink about my life. The movie made me think about what truly is important to me and the people who have helped shaped my life. In the film, George is conflicted with going about life to his own benefit or helping others. In the end, George sacrafices many of his dreams for other people. George was upset with the way his life played out and how he never got to fulfill any of his dreams. But, when Clarence shows George a life where he does not exist, George realizes that he truly did a wonderful life. All the sacrafices he made for others made George's life very fulfilling. The film taught me that living for others can be a very fulfilling life.

  8. I have enjoyed the film "On the Waterfront" the most so far.I have learned so much from watching it. Terry Malloy, the hero of the film, is known in society as a loser. He is involved in Friendly's mob and inadverntly assists in the murder of Joey Doyle. Even though Terry never thought that the mob would kill Joey, he is at fault for lying about his involvement and keeping quiet for Friendly. He lies to his everyone, including his love interest, Edie Doyle. Terry finally comes to the realization that he must stand up to Friendly and fight for what he believes in.He realizes that he has been living for other people, such as his brother Charley, and has never thought to make his own decisions in life. This film though oudated and very cliche has taught me that no matter what the cicumstances are people will fight for what is right and prosper.

  9. My favorite movie so far has been, "On the Waterfront". This movie had so many valuable lessons for life and it was just overall a great film. The main character, Terry Milloy, was one of the most influential roles played in the movie. I felt that I could relate to the situation that he was put in, when he was subpoenaed to testify in court. We all have to do things that we do not want to, or that could damage our reputation, but that is a part of life. The problems that the characters faced, although unrealistic to my life, could be connected to a real life situation. This movie taught some very important lessons on being honest even when the truth is hard to share with everyone else.

  10. The film i most enjoyed was on thw Waterfront this film was both exciting and meanignful. throughout the movie Marlan brando's character, Terry is stuck in an akward balance between being one of the most powerful mobs henchman and also being a good guy. He is afraid to make any moves against the mob and his brother. Finally, when Terry realizes he gave up his life when he lost a title fight on purpose so his brother could win a bet terry decides not to stand with the mob. these tough decisions were well acted and the plot stayed interesting at all time, the only thing this movie didnt have was color.

  11. The film that I enjoyed most is On the Waterfront. It is the only movie that kept me 100% interested. I was excited to continue watching the movie every day because I was anxious to see what happened next. Although I enjoyed the movie because of the way it kept my attention, I also learned a lesson from the film. I learned to never settle for less in life and how one can always become a better person. Terry’s realizes he can be better than what he has settled for in life and is also a hero for testifying against the ones who raised him.

  12. The film I have enjoyed the most thus far is definitely It’s A Wonderful Life. This is because of its theme that everyone is connected and has an influence on the lives of others. I believe that seeing how George’s life affected Bedford Falls is something that inspires me. People often work hard to make their lives meaningful and to be remembered after they die. However, in this movie we see that our lives are important just because we are living. You do not have to become a movie star or invent a cure for a disease, you just have to live. George’s life made Bedford Falls the way that it was. He saved his brother’s life so that his brother could save the lives of other’s, he stopped Mr. Potter from controlling the town and he was overall an amazing man who always put others before himself. Seeing what life was like without George makes one wonder just how much of a difference one life can make.

  13. The film that I enjoyed most so far is Its a Wonderful Life. This movie shows that people can take advantage of things and not realize how good they truly have it. Some people constantly complain on how bad their lives are, yet some people in the world are struggling to eat and drink everyday. One persons actions always affect other people also. When the main character, George, sees his life without him everything is different. People are always affect by someone elses decisions and choices that they make. This movie has showed to me think before i just to a decision or conclusion because one will never know the outcome or who one may hurt.

  14. The film that I have gotten the most out of is Its a Wonderful Life. I have seen this movie multiple times and each time i take away something new from it. The idea that no person is an island and that one's actions affect everyone around an individual is critical to understand. Our decisions have consequenses, not only for us personaly but for those who surround us. It is important to learn from this movie that our actions cannot always be self-motivated and that we are all in life togeather because no one is truly alone.

  15. The film I have enjoyed the most is It's a Wonderful Life. After watching the movie numerous times and picking it apart piece by piece one learns the true lesson. I used to watch the movie when I was younger and never really looked at how many symbols and all the forshadowing that occurs. The true message is that everyone no matter what you have or what you've done you have made an impact on atleast one other person. Also, one should really look at their own life and understand even though they may be in a low place, it is still wonderful.
